1400cs memory card

I'm not very much of a computer person, and I own a PowerBook 1400cs. I currently want to add more memory to it, and I heard someone mention "memory cards". I don't know if that means anything, but I would like to know if there is a way to add memory.

Macintosh PowerBook 1400cs, Mac OS 8.6 or Earlier

memory for the 1400 can be expensive from the few retailers that carry it. I suggest you try ebay. The cheapest way may be to but a complete 1400 (any model) that has the memory in it already and steal it for yours. You haved spare parts too. 1400's run $25 to $50 (shipped) in most cases.
